Effects of the EU
The European Union has had many effects on the countries in Western Europe. The EU has imposed many trade laws regarding each of the countries that regulate imports and exports from the countries and tariffs on those as well. The EU also regulates immigration in and out of the countries. Both of these have positive and negative effects on the countries of Western Europe. Unified trade laws make transporting goods easier and a common currency also adds to the efficiency. Immigration, however, has some mixed opinions. Some people believe that immigrants are needed and good while others believe they take jobs and overcrowd neighborhoods. These mixed emotions can often lead to violence which can hurt many people. The EU has had a lot a negative effects, but it is also a very good thing for generalizing certain things to help further the economy.
